Kevin Faulk is a former running back. Following high school, Faulk attended Louisiana State University, where he immediately became the starting running back for LSU's football team as a true freshman in 1995. In 1996, Faulk was voted to the College Football All-America Team by the Associated Press.
Faulk was selected in the second round of the 1999 NFL Draft by the New England Patriots. He played in the NFL for 13 seasons, solely with the Patriots. Once in the NFL, Faulk was able to establish himself as a versatile player and a contributor to his team. Faulk was one of the catalysts that sparked the legendary 2000/2010's Patriots Dynasty, as he helped them to three Super Bowl win's over the St. Louis Rams in 2001, the Panthers in 2003, and the Eagles in 2004. The Patriots posted a number of excellent seasons during Faulk's tenure, going 14-2 in each of the Super Bowl winning seasons.
For his accomplishments in New England, he was inducted to the Patriots Hall of Fame in 2016. After retiring, Faulk returned to LSU and has served as the running backs coach since 2020.
