Tim Brown was a star wide receiver and kick/punt returner for Notre Dame (1984-1987) where he won the 1987 Heisman Trophy. In his first year, he set a freshman record with twenty-eight receptions. As a junior, he set a record with 1,937 all-purpose yards. Brown finished his career at Notre Dame with 137 receptions for 2,493 yards, a school record 5,024 all-purpose yards, and 22 touchdowns.
He was drafted in the first round with the sixth overall pick by the Oakland Raiders. He spent sixteen years with the Raiders, during which he established himself as one of the NFL's greatest wide receivers of all time. He retired with over 1,000 receptions, over 14,000 receiving yards and 100 receiving touchdowns. In 2015, he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
