Reggie Miller is a former professional basketball player. He attended UCLA to play basketball, where he led them to the 1985 NIT championship.

Miller played his entire 18-year NBA career with the Indiana Pacers. He was selected by the Pacers with the 11th pick in the first round of the 1987 NBA draft. Miller was known for his precision three-point shooting, especially in pressure situations. Miller gained a respectable reputation early in his career as he led the Indiana Pacers to become a perennial playoff team. Miller became a household name during the 1994 Eastern Conference Finals against the Knicks, due to a phenomenal shooting performance in Game 5. A five-time All-Star selection, Miller led the league in free throw percentage five times and won a gold medal in the 1996 Summer Olympics. Miller is widely considered the Pacers' greatest player of all time.

His No. 31 was retired by the team in 2006. When he retired, he held the record for most career 3-point field goals made. As of 2021, he is third on the list behind Stephen Curry and Ray Allen. On September 7, 2012, Miller was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. As of 2021, he works as an NBA commentator for TNT.
